In order to effectively implement the company’s fire protection work, ensure personnel production safety, familiarize employees with fire escape routes, and cultivate their responsiveness in the event of a fire emergency, the company organized a comprehensive fire emergency drill for its staff on the afternoon of August 13.
During the comprehensive drill that day, exercises were conducted covering personnel evacuation, on‑site fire suppression, vehicle dispersal, and other scenarios. The drill officially commenced at 14:30. A fire was first detected in a corner of the production workshop; personnel from the Production Department promptly went to investigate, confirmed the fire, and immediately notified the safety officer of the company’s General Affairs Office, reported the fire in the company’s WeChat work group, and simultaneously called the fire alarm hotline for assistance. All employees in the workshop, under the guidance of the safety officer, bent low, held the wall, covered their mouths and noses with wet cloths, and followed the emergency evacuation routes to orderly reach the factory’s “Emergency Assembly Point.” After gathering, a headcount was taken to ensure every person had safely evacuated. The entire evacuation process was well‑organized and orderly.
After the drill, the safety officer conducted training on fire safety knowledge and the correct use of fire extinguishers, guiding employees to properly use extinguishers for initial‑stage fire suppression. Through hands‑on practice, employees enhanced their fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.
This drill not only heightened employees’ awareness of the importance of fire safety, but also served as a comprehensive test of the company’s work safety management.
